Hi all. thought i would post some photos of my new 50watt done to 68 lead specs. has marstran power & output trannies sozo vintage caps & carbon comps on one of Brians turret boards. taken me about a month to get all the parts over to Australia but well worth the wait. turned out great & sounds awesome cant wait for it to break in a bit.

That does look very nice.
Curious about he bias pot install. I did mine to the kit instructions exactly.

Not understanding the difference. Can you elaborate?

thanks guys. the bias pot i had was a vertical mount that only had 3 terminals so i used a piece of buss wire for the ground side then joined the resistor to th 3rd leg. i also used the Larry style grounding in this amp & it worked great dead quiet you have to put ear to speaker to tell that it even on.

Looks good, couple caps on backwards

Looks like it might be tricky to get a screw driver on that bias pot.

And where can I see the "Larry Grounding scheme", it's some kind of star ground I assume, is there a diagram somewhere?

i used the grounding scheme in jtm45 forum that uses individual star points across the front of the chassis & 2 near the filter caps. i left the ground points for the power tube cathodes at the sockets though. after doing a bit of reading i decided to go with a random orientation with the caps.
