New 50 watt build

Post by Fever Dog » Tue Aug 14, 2012 11:29 pm

Hello all,
I am starting a 1986 build this week. I have built a couple metro jtm45's and a fender 5e3. I am still very much a novice.

I bought a chassis and transformers from Brian Wallace. Components from valve storm. Board from Brian haberman.

I will be eternally grateful for any help you guys can give me.

I have not used marstran transformers yet. I am a little unsure of what terminals to use. I'll be researching that tonite.

Thanks again

Dan

Sounds like you've got some very quality components for this build. Take your time, be patient and I'm sure it will rock.
Post pics along the way, and people will help with any questions you have.
Enjoy! :rocker:

First question. I have two castelco switches for power and standby. Each switch has four terminals DPST. One side has this symbol (=). The other side has this symbol (II). Does it matter which terminal I solder to on either half? Im assuming the left half has two terminals and the right side has two terminals.
