Hello Forumites
I've been nerding out collecting the final pieces for my JMP50 build.
Does anyone know what Marshall used circa 1968 for the nine pin sockets in their JMP50s?
From the gut shots I've seen, they're almost always white in colour, so I'm thinking ceramic or bakelite maybe? (Surely Marshall were too cheap to splurge on anything as extravagant as ceramics???)
If anyone has any information to share on this it would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

They are right, not ceramic they are white plastic and incredibly hard to find the exact correct ones - I know as I have been nerding out on this before you.

Not ceraminc? Hmm, I didn't know they made white plastic sockets.
A few years latter Marshall was using Ceramics.
I was also under the impression Ceramic would have been cheaper, while bakelight was superior.
Bakelight was used in so many products used until that didn't meet electrical standards.
Neil do you have photos of the sockets?

To hand no (I’m in Scotland today).
I have a single loose one so will take some pics and post them. I cannot recall it having any markings on it.
