Hello,

My 50 Watt was left on for a few minutes and had no load on it. The amp had a chord plugged into it which would have created some signal/noise.

How can I tell if there is damage?

unless you strum a chord at full power it will be fine

If it sounds normal and plays at it's regular volume level, it is fine.
