EVH 12000 Series Pre Amp Circuit on a 50 Watt?

I have done some searches and have not found anything on the subject but was wondering what would result from applying the EVH 12000 series
pre-amp circuit design to a JTM/JMP or for that mater a Plexi 50 watt amp?
I understand there would be less over all head room but has anyone tried this?
Thanks

Ok I guess my questions would also be can you set up a 50 watt with the same basic circuitry structure and can filtering as a EVH 12000 series. . and if so what could one expect as far as tone?
Thanks

well the circuit board is pretty much standard anyway but with the 330uf on v2, maybe raise the 820 ohms to 1 k. you cant really account for the filtering though as 50 watts only use 3 cans.

Using 6CA7's will help increase your headroom.

Yeah, you're playing one of Steve's amps. If anyone can dial a 50 watter, It'd be him. He knows his shit. But still, 6CA7's do make cleaner headroom for those in need. 100 watters included.
