help im a new guy to this

hey i'm wanting to start building my first amp head. i don't know what model i want but i want something with a nice clean tone with a ballsy distortion/overdrive and a nice reverb. i have some electronic experiance. i don't want a kit cause id like to take my time building it. so it might take a while to build. so please anyone hints and tips. parts lists maybe if availiable etc. HELP!!!!!!

I noticed this is your very first post, welcome to the best amp forum on the Net. You will first have to decide what amp you want to build before you can start compiling a parts list. My sugestion is to check out as many live amps as you can to get an idea of the sound/tone your looking for, then study this forum and others to get an idea of what amp might suit your wishes. Then look at as many board layouts as you can for a parts list. The folks on this forum are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Once you decide on an amp, just post what you need help with and they will absolutely help you along with your project. Be aware that adding reverb will make your build a little more difficult.
