Hi,
I found this site while I was looking for some info on the PPIMV mods for a 1959 SLP. However - it seems that the kits aren't being sold here anymore. IS there a reason for this? - will they be coming back?
Thanks

Re: PPIMV kits
I think it was because George couldn't source the correct knob for the dual pot.

Re: PPIMV kits
You can buy the parts (except maybe the knob?) from suppliers like AES or Mouser.
It's just a ganged pot and a couple of resistors. You don't need the shielded cable if it's a fairly short run and you twist the wires well.
If you absoultely have to get the shielded cable, it's out there, as well. I can't remember the name of the place where I bought some, but I got something like 10 feet for around $12.
