output transformer wiring questions

hi,
a few questions regarding the wiring from power tubes to output transformer.
Am I correct in thinking the wires from tubes to OT are low current, high voltage and the wires from OT to speakers are high current low voltage?

Second, is it ok to twist the wires from output tubes to the OT? Would this have any reduction in hum, etc... or just be pretty?

thanks,
Dave

You should twist the secondaries with the ground wires included and the primary wires w/o the center wire, to minimize their inductice strayfield around it - to minimize crosstalk into other higher sensitive areas of your layout - to avoid power stage oscillation!

That't one of the basical laws in building proper working tube amps!

it took me a bit, but I see what you mean.
