67 plexi with virtual variac

i have a 67 plexi replica with a virtual variac on order.
it sounds unique, as you see it on only the 68 metro.
what do you guys think, did i made a good choice?
i figured its nice to have, makes the amp a little bit more versatile.

Sounds like a good idea, but both voltages would stil be higher than 68-69 builds, right ?

The voltages will be about 400 and 485, just like in the 12 series amps.
It will be interesting to hear the lower setting in this circuit. I think the effect will be less dramatic since the '67 has higher screens filtering.
We'll see.

It's not listed in the store. But it's no trouble to wire it up.

Super clear and dynamic sounding already! Maybe real close to "Axis Bold As Love", without all the Mayer pedals !
