hey guys

i made a post about this before, but cant find it,but my question is a bit different this time

First off i live in the UK

and my kit has a US plug on it.

my question is, could i use a plug from my old printer? if i connected to the 240V tap on the PT?

the one end looks exactly the same as the lead supplied, but i just wanted to run it past you guess first.

Thanks

Tom

The header of this forum says:

Metropoulos Amplification
All about my recreations of '60s Marshalls.

Maybe your quest is more successfully in another forum on this board?

Larry is right about that.... but i answer anyways.... u can use any cord that suits you wall socket.... but make sure IT HAS A GROUND... also make sure that it fits in the strain relief snugly.. or you could go down to your local hardware and buy a plug that suits and just cut the end of the cord supplied..... i used a spare PC Power cable for mine.... worked fine....make sure you connect it to the correct voltage tap on your PT. 240,220 etc etc im not sure what the wall socket power is where your at but failure to do so will let the smoke out of you PT
