Plexi build is Finished

Post by markanthony » Sun May 20, 2007 10:03 am

Well first of all I have to thank everyone here, including George the guys at metro the fast ship, customer service bam everything here perfecto.
Steve aka SDM you are a Amp God!!!! Period!!! Thank you, he helped me from day one with this and if it wasnt for him it would of neva got off the ground.

After I went as far as I could complete build however I kept blowing B+ fuse's Steve was kind enough to take her on and tighty up and get rocking for me THANK YOU!!! Thxs Rockstah for the drawings, and input, Not bad for my first build, and Im going to my 50 watt plexi build as we speak.
Here are some pics .I dont have her back yet but you betcha I will post some clips of this monster, Steve played over the phone with only 2 tubes in her good god, I went with Marks(RKstah) drawings PPIMV on this one the 250k LIN pot WOW
I Asked permission from Steve to post he said yes but to let ya all know this was a quick tighty up nothing like his real work? I was like what after seeing the pictures? Im like you do better then this good God!!! I hope in time i can do half as good as this in time!!
One major thing I learned is take your time why I kept thinking or rushing to get her done I dont know I did like in 4 days, not this time, I will take my time.

Ok thanks everyone, note, this chassis is not from metro that was half the problem building her beware over at ebay when buying you guys were dead on correct buy a chassis from George yes I leanred the hard way!! I spent the first 2 days on the chassis alone to drill holes and the plates are all hacked up nothing fit, I still might take her apart after the 50 watter and re chassis in one of Metros chassis with plates!!

Ok Im rambeling thank you Steve(SDM) Mark(Rkstah) and all that was kind enough to help this Noob out!!
Im Hooked now!!
MetroAmps Rules!!! enough said!! Im sold!
