MV circuit vs 69 kit vs 68

Hey guys,

can you all describe what the difference would be tonally between:

a pieced together amp using georges 100watt MV board (is this after a JMP 2203?)

69' spec plexi kit

68' 12xxx series?

To me, via the clips I heard, it sounds like a JMP2203 and 68 are pretty much the same sounding, with the 68 being a tiny bit more aggressive/middy sounding with the 2203 being a little more darker.

This sound about right?

If so, I think I see a 68 in my future!
