If anyone with a booth is interested, I have a '68 replica 100 watt in LA that's available. This is the amp that went to Metallica to try out. They liked it but said it sounded just like their plexis. Which they have a room full of already.

I don't know about displaying, but the All Star Jam sounds cool...
NAMM 08- RATT fans don't miss appearances by Warren DeMartini, Bobby Blotzer and Robbie Crane at this years NAMM Convention in Anaheim Ca.
Warren will be signing autographs in the Seymour Duncan Booth on Sat. Jan 19 at 3pm, Bobby will be signing at the Yamaha Drum booth (check back for times) and don't miss the infamous NAMM JAM on Thrs night Jan 17 @ the Galaxay Theater which will fearure Warren, DeMartini playing with The Big Ball Stars Band which features Robbie Crane, Brent Woods, Chad Stewart, Teddy Zig Zag and Rolling Stones vocalist Bernard Fowler. Also appearing will be George Lynch, Tracii Guns and LA GUNS, Dave Meniketti and Y&T, Gliby Clark as well as some other special guests. Rumour has it that Warren and George will jam! so come on out!

$2700? That's cheap. WCR & I thought about it and a 10x10 booth was $3000 four years ago. We needed a 10x20 plus soundproof booth, so that came to around $7500, if I remember right.
Needless to say, thoughts of displaying at NAMM went right out the door with those kinds of fees.

Last year, my quote was $8000. Not including shipping, travel, lodging, food etc.
Summer NAMM is supposed to be cheaper, and I can drive to Nashville. Might make that.
Possibly split a booth with Valve Train.

The Metallica quote is priceless, "it sounds just like our plexis, we already have a room full of them."
This seems to be the atypical rock star response to Metros, the normal response would probably be, when can I get one, but that is for us non-jaded people.

Yeah, that sounds more like it. Not a cheap show to display at.

I'm glad it is back in Nashville. Last summer they moved it.
