but I'll say it again. It would be freaking awesome to have a JMP MV 2203 kit, with the great instructions, and some of the more typical mods (removing treble peaking) explained well. And maybe with a 6550 or EL34 option? It would sell like hotcakes. I mean really, what metroamp nut wouldn't buy one?

It would be nice to have a complete kit with 6550's. Plus it would really be unique, a few companies already make plexi kits (Metro's are obviously better than the rest), but I haven't seen any 2203/04 kits except ceriatone.

You're right. Would be freakin' awesome. I'd rather it were a 2204 though, but that's just 'cause I'm scared of 100watters (and NEVER allowed to turn it up much as it is!)

And even then the Ceriatone kits are made overseas, and the boards are already done.

What fun is there in that?

I've love to do a JCM 800 :)

Even with the small "plexi" faceplate - just as long as it's not a 4-input plexi panel - the regular 2-input and the correct labeling would be ideal.

There's not that much difference in terms of loudness of a 50w and 100w amp - only 3db - and you need 10db to double your volume.

Plus, you can always leave out two power tubes and run it that way...

Don't ruin it for the rest of us! :)

Dude, seriously. We all understand typing can be a pain, but forum 101 anywhere is all caps is shouting. Considering the forum here is a goldmine of information, and you are likely here to get some of that information, you might want to reconsider your stance on the caps... it will be well worth the "effort" to switch the caps off.
