JTM45RI to JMP50?

Post by Axe_78th » Thu Apr 24, 2008 6:19 pm

I have a JTM45RI that has the usual mods. Marstran trannys, PTP board, etc. While it sounds very good I don't play it much. I usually use my Fender Deluxes. I got to play a 70' 50 watter I used to own a few days ago and really have GAS for a plexi 50. I thinking of converting my JTM45RI. Bad Idea? Should I just save up and buy a 50 watt kit?

there are some mods you can do to switch between your tube rectifier and a solid state diode chain like the 50's I wouldnt completely take away the tube rectifier. Its good for certain things.

You could change it to split cathode.
