I have a 1959 HW and clipped the cap on the treble channel volume pot,
Is this the configuration of a Super Bass circuit?
If not, what is the difference?
Super Bass/Super Lead ?

No.
This is a 1959 circuit:

This is a 1992(Superbass) circuit:

Notice that the 1959 has a split cathode, .0022 coupling, 33K\500p tone stack. .022 coupling caps for the PI.
The Superbass hass a shared cathode, .022 coupling cap, 56K\250 tone stack and .1's for the PI.
These are the main differences but I'm sure there are a few others.
