Yeah, 4 input jacks, full length metal panel... a 900 has only 1 input - unless he used these stacks as a visual thing and had some other amp isolated and miced...

They sound awesome.

Judas Priest was like the bubblegum metal that the local bands played who couldn't play Deep Purple and Queen and Zep,etc.

Exciter was the only really rocking song the did. All the rest FM radio play posing. "Breaking the Law"? "Livng After Midnight" geez...
It's like they didn't get past page 1 of the heavy metal primer.

Well, Priest began pre- Unleashed for me, but Unleashed still remains a great album. Although many loved British Steel, I preferred earlier Priest. "Sin After Sin" gets played alot, Unleashed, and then I think Defenders and Screaming. Point of Entry and Steel are.. yeah, more "bubble-gummy." Turbo is worse-lol.

I would consider Queen to be more.. "educated"? Purple is.. wow. And BTW- if you love Purple, grab Around the World Live DVD set. Very, very cool. No offense to Mr Blackmoore, but DP seemed to be having a ton of fun with Morse. And Jon Lord? Hahaha! He is why I love B3 (and similar organs). So funny how people will often mistake his lines as being Ritchie's.

If I listen to Yes, it seems ot demand more of my attention; Priest is.. Metal. More raw emotion than "demanding composition" for sure. No offense- I am simply a fan of them all, and Priest/Maiden were huge, especially as a guitar player; they began my love of harmony guitar lines, which got expanded by Saga to include synths.. and more.

One more side note..
Funniest transcription book blurb: Judas Priest had/has a book, forget which one, and the transcription for Delivering The Goods gets to the solo, and instead of transcribing it, it says, "If you can figure this out, then what do you need this book for?" (or similar) LOL!!
