What kit to build for a Friedman mod

What kit and components would you guys recommend if I was building it to eventually send to Dave Friedman to mod.
I would like to build a kit and do some of my own experimenting and then send to have the KS mod done. I'm interested in
knowing what kind of components he prefers? I know he doesn't prefer SOZO and likes the NOS Mustards.
