Geoge built 45

Post by prs1999 » Sun Dec 26, 2010 1:02 pm

I have seen most of the pictues of Georges builds having a manufacturing tag/sticker on the chassis bearing his signature/model/serial number etc.
Is there a reson that sticker would not be on the amp?
I found one used and the claim is it's a George build, but it doesnt have the sticker There are no sharpe marking or a serial number either..It does have the "MetroAmp" plexi badge on the front of the cab.
Anyone have any input?

Can you post a few gut-shot photos?

The head is in a store. Dont know if they'd let me do that.
Another thing ,the white plexi plate doesnt have the ,
"Made in USA
by Metropoulos Amplification,INC.
Serial no.
xxxxxxx "

Once again,if the front name plate ony has
"MetroAmp"

Instead of,

"Metropoulos
Amplification"

Can that be a giveaway its a kit and not a George build?

It wouldn't have the MetroAmp logo if George built it.
