Strange high pitched noise

Hi!

I have a Metro 12.000 build. I have a strange problem.
Whenever I connect a Digigtal Delay (TC) in front of the amp, it gives of a light pitched squel. Its not very load. I dosent matter if the delay is on or not.
Without the delay the amp sounds normal.

Could this be an oscillation issue, bad ground or other?

I'm grateful for any suggestions.

Lars

If the amp is normal when you dont use the delay, then it sounds to me that its not anything wrong with your amp...

I guess your right, but isn't i strange?
I've seen others who use a delay in front of the amp without problems.

Does it happen to be an ND-1 Nova Delay? I'm just curious because a friend of mine uses one of those and it causes him to get shocked by a microphone when singing and touching his guitar. I told him to get rid of it but he found that sending the other output of the delay through a DI to the mixer removes the shock problem. It's a stupid fix that I wouldn't put up with but... We definitely isolated the problem to the Nova pedal.

It's probably not related to your issue but there may be a ground problem with those. ??? Some digital pedals can cause weird noise or other issues.

Its a Nova Repeater.

As I understood its the same thing with less features.

Better get an analog delay then.
