**ZL FX LOOP HELP**

Post by Brad H » Sun Nov 18, 2018 12:53 pm

Q: I have an additional dpdt toggle (same as the one in the loop kit), that I want to wire into the place of the 206-211 level switch...so that I can mount on the chassis. Several folks have said they’ve done it before, but when I ask how, I get nothing. Just trying to find out which lug gets wired where, and do I need to jumper lugs 5/6 together? I’ve “breadboarded” and I think I have it, but then I start thinking about it, and now I’m not sure. I really don’t want to mess up this loop trying something that I’m not 100% positive about.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I’m breadboarding now, and from what I’m getting I need to hook up 1/2 and 3/4 to the holes left vacant by the cts 206-211. 5/6 would be left “as/is” rather than jumpered. I say this because the cts 206-211 is a dpst on/off with only 4 lugs...so to make this toggle (dpdt on/on 6 lugs) the same, I would NOT jumper the sides together, and leave those last lugs untouched. Or at least that’s how it’s working out on the breadboard. Is that correct? I bought a few 206-211’s to experiment with, and that’s how I got the toggle to act the same as the 206-211. Just looking for confirmation either way. Wish I could draw a diagram on here.

Sorry guys, had the lugs numbered wrong. Thinking I need to hook up 2/5 (pwr), and 1/4 (load), and leave 3/6 untouched. Thoughts?
