Post by VelvetGeorge » Tue Aug 23, 2005 10:01 pm

This should be pretty complete. Let me know if you guys see anything I missed.

Update: I have added the early '68 12 series 100 watt parts list.

I'm pretty sure I included everything. There are items that you can choose what you want to use, like tube sockets, tubes, transformers ect.

Everything on the list is in the store except the flat lip head case and the boards. I'll work on getting those listed tomorrow. I'm just out of steam tonight.

Shouldn't there also be (2) 820ohm 2 watt metal Oxide resistors listed on the parts list as well?

Yes. Either 2w MO or 1/2 NOS which are long enough to fit across the board.

Hey, George (Dan, Andy?) can you post a 45/100 parts list? I planned on doing the '67 from the bare bones kit but since I have <ahem> come across 45/100 panels I think I'll need to do that instead!

Yes......two of the 32uF caps are mounted on a turret board under the chassis along with the two 100uF caps. The other 32uF mounts above the chassis with a clamp (make sure you get the single 32 can type for this one!!)

Andy, if use a JTM45 component board with the 7 32u cap board I've got the 45/100 circuit correct? (Of course with the correct tranny's and choke.)

Which choke did you wind up leaving in yours?

I think so....I can't think of much that's different between the two main boards, although sometimes the JTM45/100 had one extra turret in the corner by the bias circuit for the junction of the choke and filter cap wires. My Super PA has it, my first clone doesn't........

TH
he first clone still has a Heyboer 10H 100mA choke. The Super PA has Brian Wallace's 20H RS clone, which I'm still waiting to hear.......if I hook up the fuse holder, Bulgin socket and pilot light I'll have to undo them when the faceplates are done. But I'm getting damn itchy to hear it........
