Hi everybody, I hope you are all good and healthy.
I've been taking advantage of these weeks of quarantine to get my amp to sound good, I think now I'm very happy with it. Thanks Duane for all the help, guidance and patience, thanks bro!

Hey man, nice audio, nice playing, can you tell us what is your mod and what did you use to record.

I find it a little hissy but real good sounding

Thanks Snakepit :) At first I modded the amp based on a idea that Duane share with me, but I think that since my amp is a JTM 60 (that I have replaced OT, added choke and put a couple of 6550 tubes) converted to something similar to a JCM800 with added stage, the mod wasn't quite right for my amp, but Duane keep giving me suggestion to make additional changes and shape the tone until I got this result. I was surprised about how powerful feels that tone in the room.
For recording I use an sm57 and use a line 6 gx interface (I usea an audio technica adapter here because this is a guitar interface). Also use a 1x12 cab with WGS british lead speaker and an attenuator.

New amp finally home!

100W JMP from November '77. Serial number within spitting distance of the real #36 so likely same day, surely same week.

Not sure I feel quite comfortable drilling the hole for the extra tube in this vintage masterpiece but a man gotta do what a man gotta do. It will be #36'ed.

Does anybody know in which of the input holes the gain extra pot was located on the real #36? (And why the hell I cannot put pictures in my posts........)

Thanx!

I'm working out the layout and bulding up the confidence to drill the hole for the extra tube.... I think I'll stick the added stage first like a Jose 'cause that makes the wiring alot easier.
