So what specs are you at right now in these clips after the new dual tap. Are you playing straight up dimed or dimed into an attenuator I don't remember what you've stated?
The amp is very different from where you started, great job!
Yes, I finally understand how to measure and set the bias.rockstah wrote:it sounds really good. i can tell you are enjoying playing it.![]()
so you did work out the bias situation to your satisfaction?
If you mean the cutting out / choppy sound then yes, if no, then I'm not sure what you mean.rockstah wrote: can u hear the clipping sound like i hear on the clips?

filtering?
Alright, I'll try that.rockstah wrote: i would like to hear more filtering in the phase inverter... better yet, put one of your dual 50's back in and jumper it for 100u on the phase inverter and make another clip.
Wil do but just To confirm:rockstah wrote:also bring the mains back up to 50u.
yes throw a jumpred dual 50u in the PI. = 100u on PIvkaxeman wrote:Wil do but just To confirm:rockstah wrote:also bring the mains back up to 50u.
You are saying replace the V3 PI 16/16cap wired 16u/one side only with a 50/50 cap wired one side and then jumped to the other for 100u?
and
Replace the 2 mains 32/32 caps with 50/50 caps wired the same as current?
And do you want me to make the V3 PI change first, then make an MP3, then change the Mains and make another MP3?
Thanks!
