Got the extra tube installed along with the rest of the circuit and 2nd gain pot. Modified the presence. It sounds good. Got a little tweaking to do as usual, but I tried to make a good guess at it, LOL. Using the #34, #39 schemes and your first spec.

Is imageshack not working anymore? Seems like everytime I click on a link to see a pic/ schematic, nothing comes up

Have not put the bypass caps on stage 2 and 3 yet. Got a bunch of .1uF, .22uF and .47uF caps laid out that I plan to solder to gator clips today. Had to pause and install a set of Bare Knuckles in my son's 8 string, LOL

Just do a 34 + an extra stage resistor to tune the gain, set everything to about 7, MV to whatever you like.CoffeeTones wrote: ↑Sat Mar 05, 2022 9:38 amHave not put the bypass caps on stage 2 and 3 yet. I will do that. I'll try to get a clip with my phone. That is the best I can do for now. Never recorded with this phone, so wish me luck. I have a 1k // cap on stage 4 from the previous spec, so may go ahead and change that to 820r // cap.

Some short, really rough phone clips. Please don't expect them to be as good as Nigel's recording or playing! I was sitting about six feet from the amp. Yeah, my timing and phrasing are off and there are clams. I have not played this stuff in a year or more, but I know it's wrong. There are no plate snubbers being used and no 150k gain reduction, hence it's a little unruly and the noise floor is up. I still have three or four changes to make before the spec is complete, but thought I'd post clips along the way.

I'll have to see why they were not public. May be for the best, they were rough. LOL
I'll make more clips. I just finished the complete mod. Might need to fine tune stage 3. Have not decided if it needs more gain or more clipping.

My first ever go at doing a Kemper profile lol
The tone gets changed a bit, but i think that's to do with my reamp box, i need a better one.
