Hi there,

That's cool. The larger coupler was only for the bass channel, I liked it in fact. No impact to the lead ch.
The amp was a good sounding one, had the 1201-99 Drake OT which sounds different than other SL's from that time, more agressive I recall.

73 is a great year for SL's. I still own one SL after selling many, and it's a 73 too.

However I settled mainly on JTM50's now.
