Fryette Power Station 2 users.. looking for some answers..

As the title suggests.. I have recently picked up a PS2. It's a serious piece of kit.. running it through my interface and DAW with impulse responses produces some awesome tones. I've never truly heard my Marshall in this way before. I've got a couple of questions though..

The PS2 essentially turns your 100w head in to a 50w head, is that right? So for example, I'd be a bit wary of running my amp full bore in to my 2x12 with G12-65's.. but using the PS2 I can do that safely in 'operate' mode?

Secondly, when I try to connect my pedalboard (Line 6 HX Effects) to the PS2 FX Loop I immediately get oscillation/feedback. I know the FX Loop doesn't work when using the line out, so I'm talking about when connected to a cab.

Cheers for taking a look!

Yes, that is correct. You could run it into any 2x12 with a power handling of 100 watts.

"...I immediately get oscillation/feedback"

First, I would check the the FX level-button to make sure it is set to out position.

Alternatively, you could try pushing in the FX level-button and set the Line 6 to output at line-level.
Well it sounds raga, don't want to go raga on this stuff...
