'70 Superlead vs 12xxx clone + '69 cab

Hi,

Here's a clip I just made using Holy (my customised 335-like) and the '68 clone I've been tweaking this week.

The cab is an early 69 slant loaded with G12M Lead (T1121 w/ 102 003)
Valves are :
V1 : Mullard I63
V2 : Brimar CV4004
V3 : Mulalrd M8137
V4-7 : Valve Art EL34B

Amp settings : volume 8, treble & presence 5, bass & mid 10

The amp is attenuated with an Airwreck clone on -5dB so it doesn't blow the speakers !
It has all NOS caps : Mustard , Lemco, silver mica & Dogbone. NOS Allen Bradley & Neohms Carbon Comp resistors, Piher and Iskra Carbon Film resistor. Marstran Trannies.
Erie 32/32 preamp cap, Rifa Mains (50µf) & Screens (16µf), F&T PI (32µf)

Upgrade from stock :
- Pickups : Classic77 bridge + P77-HB neck (see http://www.custom77.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for more info)
- CTS 550k pots
- PIO tone caps
- Gotoh Tune O Matic
- Switchcraft switch.

D'addario 10-46 strings, nothing fancy.

The volume is on 7.5 on the bridge pickup, then on full for the neck pick up then down to 3 or 4 I can't rememeber before going back to the brdige pickup, still on 7.5.

Same preamp valves. Like the first clip it's recorded with an M160 and an MD21 on the same speaker, equal volume. I did not change the gain on the soundcard (FF800) between the 2 recordings so if you hear a difference ...

The '70 Superlead is up for sale, if anyone is interested. At the moment I have too many amps and not enough cash, unfortunately.
