I really like that Megavibe! I'll be looking into one.
Are you recording these song clips with a Boss BR600? I thought you mentioned that somewhere.

The BR600 sounds very impressive I've been on the fence for a while between a BR-900 and BR-600.
IS the compactflash memory adequate? How do you transfer your backing tracks to the BR? Just from a CD player or computer in MPS format?
The BR effects sound real good, thereverb is very natural.
Just looking for your overall opinions and ease of use of the BR-600 say comapred to the BR-900.
I would be doing what your doing using backing trakcs and some vocals.
If I got the BR-600 I could use tha balance for a KB megavibe!
Thanks!

The memory card it comes with is kinda low. I used it for a while with that card, then for $40 bought the 1 gig memory card.
i don't save tunes. I basically do a tune or a few tunes at a time. After they are mixed and on a cd, I erase the tunes from the BR-600.
I mix down to an outboard cd burner.
The reverb and delay is great. Even a few of the distortion presets are decent.

Thanks for your review I think I am going to seriously look into it. I have everything else I need to record but that.
Had I realized those were from a BR-600 before I would have looked into it earlier.
Your clips sound great! Thanks! I may have to ask for a couple of pointers after I pick it up if you don't mind.

Love the tone you get out of that Yngwie strat, are the pickups the stock Dimarzio or did you change them out?

The white Yngwie Strat I got has a bit of Jimi vibe.
Stock pu's.
I got 2 Yngwies and they are essentially identical.
I got some old vids I put up at YouTube with the Hendrix Strat they discontinued. Here's one-

Man, you definatly got lots of vibe there Carl. I know your playin Hendrix there, but to me, you got more Trower in you. Alot of those licks sound like Trower 'Live' back in the day (that 75 or 76 live album) Great stuff !
I have been looking into those Yngwie strats for awhile. The scalloped neck has kept me away. This is due to one of the first models they put out back in the 80's, which I played and felt 'wierd' on. I might like one of the newer ones though. How do you feel with the scalloped neck, say compared to your JB strat ?

Definitely learned alot of Trower years ago!
It's definitely a different feel and at first it's funny going back and forth between the Yngwie Strats and a normal Strat.
There are certain things I do as part of my style that are harder on the scallopped neck.
Chords where I hold 2 strings down with one finger are harder.
All the Little Wing/Angel stuff is a bit harder too.
