btw. i'm a bit surprized that yo ucan get this massive sound out of P90's with a JTM-45. Also the mic seems to cath the fullness of the tone quite well.

That's a really nice growl I hear...cutting and bright without being ice-picky. You got that dialed in nice.

cheers guys!
The massive sound is probably from the fact i use heavy top (and skinny bottom). 52's on the top i think, i play ridiculously hard I think i broke my A and low E playing this on the first take lol!), and perhaps the editing might have contributed a tad (I only panned the lead track and rhythm track at 50% away from each other).
Either way, it sound frikin huge in real life anyway.
I find, if you do this you can nail the ACDC tone everywhere, just cause when you need to play lead your fingers don't cave in half thru a solo, and when you need rhythm, the thump is there. Of course if you apply these principles to a pickup that bucks the hum, it should be even better, but I can't seem to go past p90's
By the way, the mic isnt an SM it's an RS

It's probably a copy, and not the real deal.. but it still does a damn site better job than a cam mic

Would love to hear it with some bass and drums.
There's a backing track here but sadly it has rhythm guitar.
