Funk 49. Please disregard the phrasing, timing and pitch. Other than those things, it rocks.

I can't believe this. Here's a clip of my G&L Legacy (Strat type guitar) doing a terrible Jimi.

I hit the Fulltone '69 fuzz at the end.

Here's the G&L through my JTM 45/100 prototype and the Fulltone 69 fuzz. I just dimed everything on the amp and went for it. Way too fuzzy IMO.

The cool thing is, at the end I started the lead break and saw blue arching in one of the output tubes! You can hear when the nasty hum starts in the clip.

I hope it's just a fluke and these Valve Art KT66's can handle 520 volts.

Hey you stole my 2 favorite riffs to clip with- The Queen and the Joe Walsh. Clip police... Wasnt Funk49 really a Deluxe? Its got the soul of a Marshall though.

They sound great! Im already checking the mail every 2 hours for my caps damn you.

Now that sounds exactly like a 40 year old amp!

Guitar Player Amp of the Decade!

Great Job dude!

Sounds fantastic George - both of those amps are killer! Could you do a VH inspired clip of the '67 replica? Would just like to hear in a more gain intensive environment..............

Thats not the VH circuit is it?

No, that's the early circuit. First revision after JTM45/100. Basically a plexi superbass with a 100pf bright cap.

Do you think it likely that any guitar rag- world, player, vintage- ever got a new production amp of Metro caliber before? They probably would make it amp of the decade. The price is just the icing on the cake. Fuck that its a whole second cake.

i love the blues saraceno things...
perhaps he used marshall on his first album ?
and his father amp was a great amp
perhaps not really away from a plexy ..

I think I read a long time ago that he had an old Marshall. I recall something about JCM 800's too. It's been so long ago that I'm probably wrong. Anyone remember?
