This is my Metro 50 watt Plexi 68' kit modified by Aracom with Mullards EL34 nos using the Aracom attenuator. I used a 64 strat through a OCD pedal and a MXR 10 band eq. I used a Marshall 1960B with Scumback H 75 speakers. I used a Chandler Limited TG 2 Pre, SSL comp, SSL eq(flat) and for Mics I use a Shure SM 57, Royer 121 ribbon mic both close to the speakers and a Neumman 97 ai for ambience.

Wow, a great tune and a very original Marshall tone - haven't heard anything just like that - nice!

Thanks Vintage Charlie, I truly appreciate your feedback! A lot of people don't post comments, which would be nice so I can learn if there's something that they don't like which helps me learn to better my tone or my playing. The Aracom attenuator really helps me get the tone I want since my studio is upstairs in my town home were I live! I can't record loud at all since an 89 year lady lives right next to me!!!This is the first attenuator out of many I owned that really gives me a natural top end. Thank you again for your kind words!!!!

I like the playing but that od pedal is coloring the tone way too much IMO. You can achieve the same gain level w/o the od pedal and eq and it should sound so good, bluesy and pure. Check the bias (it should be round 65-70% maximum plate dissipation) and crank the amp and hit it!
Having said that the only boost pedal that I really like with a strat and a marshall is old dod250.

Thanks for the tip stef. You're right, my Meto am needs bias adjustment. I replaced the old RCA tubes with the Mullards and never I never adjusted the bias. I didn't want to run the amp all the way up because I was trying to avoid geting to much distortion and also wanted to get a real bright sound for the solo.I used the Fulltone OCD pedal to change the tone of the amp to give the amp a mild boost. But tone is very subjective, some people will hate it and some will love it.Since at the time I didn't have a Fender amp, I was trying to get a Fender sound with the Marshall. I recently bought a Groove Tube Soul o 75 that gets me that sound. Thanks for listening!

I don't visit this section enough and that was rippin tone and playing dude. I can hear the core tone of the Metro but agree with Stef on not needing the OD pedal. More clips please!

awesome playin and great tune!! i use a chandler little devil boost with my 50w, and these work both awesome together. sure this one colors the sound (a lot), but in a great way, especially for soloing. the germ drive is also pretty nice... and yes, i love wade's stuff too.
