Got hold of a WEM Copicat recently and a mate recorded a clip of me noodling with it aimlessly. Guitar is ash body, maple/ebony neck which I put together, for those who don't know, amp started it's life as a 1959slp reissue but has been gutted 3 times over and think only the power transformer and switchgear is left now! Circuit is probably closest to a 12000 series amp but with many different personal tweaks, though no 'Bainzy mod' extra gain stage engaged here.

Plexi is plugged into a THD hotplate, plugged into a solid state marshall head. Valves are JJ EL34, and some NOS preamp valves (can't remember what, probably a mix of Mullard, RFT and Sylvania).
I love how the Copicat thickens and darkens the tone, and pushes the amp further into overdrive.
