Hi Sir !!

Today ,I took some time and listen to some clips on your site.

I have a 4x12 loaded with G12H 75hz Pre Rolas 8ohms and would like to buy four more
to put in another cab.

By the way ,I dont understand why there is so much talk about a G12M 75 GB and a lot of clips too when in
my opinion and taste ,the G12H 75 sounds absolutely fabulous with nice smooth top end and fat creamy low end.
I think there is not enough G12H shootouts on the net.....it would be nice to hear an A-B clip with Celestions Heritage
75 and 55 compared with Scumback 75 and 55's ASW ...............great speaker ! but like I said ,it is a personal taste.

Anyway to make a long story short ,I was listening to some of the clips on your site and the H75 sound very good ,
I think I prefer them over the PVC's ,I dont know why yet but I do.

I tried to listen to some 55's cause I might go that way but couldn't here any , the H55 clip press link was grey and wouldn't give me s clip , how can i access to your H55 clips .

Thank's............................Louis

Louis, you can't access any 55hz clips because they aren't finished. They should be done in the next couple of weeks.

Louis, I've got a cross reference on my site with descriptions and what the differences are...here's the link:

http://www.scumbackspeakers.com/reference.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here's what it says there (amongst a lot of other useful info)....

M75-PVC --> 1965 — 1967 era G12M T1221 20w 75hz (bass response) lead cone, using the H1777 75hz cone. These were the first G12M speakers made in the old days, and were commonly referred to as "Greenbacks". These speakers had a 35 oz magnet that produced more midrange than low end or high end, resulting in the pronounced mid range hump that sounded dark to many players. Marshall used these extensively in their stack cabs, although the G12H30 "Greenback" model was also very popular. Due to the Kraft paper voice coil used, they have a little more upper mids/treble than the M75 or pre rola G12M speakers.
