That sounds great, George - can't wait until mine gets here. (if you don't remember, I'm the one that sent in the '71 super lead you just finished restoring)

Out of interest, what did you use to record the youtube clip? I definitely like that last clip a lot more, though.

I thought this ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tESqDOMScEw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) is what an 12xxx replica Metroamp sounded.

This is really sounding like EVH to me ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tESqDOMScEw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )

According to the guy playing guitar in the vid it is a stock Metro 12xxxx amp with no mods or pedals.

I think this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tESqDOMScEw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; sounds a lot fuller than velvetgeorges audioclips in the beginning of this post!

Could it be the pickups ?

Dude this:

http://forum.metroamp.com/download/file.php?id=2482" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

is an Audio file.

and this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tESqDOMScEw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

is a Video file.

The amp in the Video sounds a lot better than the amp in the audiofile!
And both are Stock Metro Amps 12000 Replicas DUDE!

Recorded my rig with Eric playing his LP, the Reggie, and the new Model A build. the intent was to show the variety in these amps. Details on soundcloud.

Thought it would be worth sharing. The cool thing is the tone stack is dimed through all clips and tones vary via playing style and guitar/pup selection. I changed the normal channel spec a bit to get rid of some mud and make it a more useable crunch channel. It also has variable NFB adjustment but that stayed fixed in this clip. These amps are just badass.

As always, sounded GREAT ! Loved how the amp/guitars responded to the playing dynamics :thumbsup: Clean to mean and everywhere in between :D
