The Mc5... Everyone talks about Wayne Kramer when they talk Mc5, but to me Sonic Smith was where the real power was.. Like Chuck Berry on speed and lsd with a Marshall... Wayne was great too !!! If you can find the movie " A True Testamonial" check it out...

I HATE Wayne Kramer!!!!

I was in punky NY band and was told that we were going to be on the Uncle Floyd show. Turned out the band cut some tracks without me 'cuz they got Kramer to do it. Then I had to lipsync / air guitar HIS licks on the vid shoot without ever even heariing the tracks first.

Funny thing is I thought his parts sucked. Even the drummer said what I came up when we did it live was better.

Then they got a big gig and guess who they called to play guitar....
Couldn't pass up the name I guess....
