I guess I sound 'old and dated' to youngsters as well nowadays, being that I sound and play alot like an '80's hard rock guy :peace: I've definately heard it from the younger players ("you got that '80's sound").

Yep, its sad that thier is only that ONE alternative to gettin older :o As much as I'd like to be able to get into or understand some of the youngsters style's, I am often reminded of the fact that MUSICALITY, regardless of age and style, is the common thread. Being able to sit alone with an acoustic and get the job done (expression). You take some of these guy's out of thier band, and they have no natural rhythm and time (without thier drummer) and cant sing a lick :o . It makes thier 'musical abilities' seem VERY much in one corner.
