Which clip are you referring to Doug? If it's the Mr.Big session its Pat Torpey on drums, MB's usual drummer.

That clip is from an Alcatrazz performance. I will load up a timeline of Yngwie's bands and members, with sidebands listed as well shortly, I am not that familiar with the Alcatrazz members, other than Graham Bonnet, I would recognize the names if I saw them.
Here is a clip from Wilki:
The band's initial line-up consisted of Graham Bonnet (lead vocals), Yngwie Malmsteen (guitar), Gary Shea (bass), Jimmy Waldo (keyboards, vocals) and Jan Uvena (drums, vocals). Shea And Waldo were previously members of the group New England. Uvena had worked with Alice Cooper. Malmsteen had been in the Swedish Prog-Metal band Silver Mountain and had recently come to the US and joined the band Steeler for one album. Alcatrazz's material was written by Bonnet and either Malmsteen or Vai, with Waldo co-writing on a few select tracks. Shea dubbed the group "Alcatrazz".
So it looks like Jan Uvena, would be the answer. :)

it's just I'm a big Tull head, AFAIK Barrimore Barlow played drums in the studio on rising force and I'm sure I've seen him in some videos. I just wondered if he ever toured with him, probably not

It looks like Barlow was the studio drummer, I am fairly sure he didn't actually tour with Yngwie, as recording the album probably was enough..
