Okay here goes, and please don't get more confused.

- The Major is the Marshall Major 200W Head
- AC30 is the Vox AC30 combo amplifier
- BSM pedal can be 2 or 3 pedals made by BSM (Bernd Meiser), say either one of the HS pedals (clones of the Hornby Skewes HS-1 or clones of modified HS-1's) or the RPA (Ritchie Preamp) pedal

http://www.treblebooster.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There is also the possibility of the MTC, the Master Tone Control by John "Dawk" Stillwell, check out his site.

http://www.dawksound.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There is also the RBTC, Ritchie Blackmore Tone Control by mijfenders

http://www.mijfenders.com/RBTC.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and the Ritchie Blackmore Tape Booster (a clone of one of the BSM's?)

http://www.mijfenders.com/RBTB.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Bill lawrence also sells the Tone Q, which may be similar to the MTC and the RBTC, anybody know?

Here's a clip of the RBTC, anybody want to buy one and let us see what's inside?

http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=HJXD9aKcA-4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Let's throw in $20 each and get one! It should be an inductor, a capacitor, and a pot (and maybe a resistor, as well).

Oh, I came here to say I bought a Seymour Duncan SSL-5 (tapped) off eBay. Check out the site to see how close it is to the SSL-4 (Quarter Pound). Now I can be Ritchie Blackmore and David Gilmour at the same time :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Some interesting stuff in the interview. Good post leadguy.

I love what he says about Mandel tapping in '68. No. Ed didn't invent (again)
