Just to spice it up a little....

saw him and his band in 78 or 79 when he still was playing and was'nt as angry but still political.

He was jammin, had a guitar player I wish today I knew who he was.
He as smokin... he was like a Jamacian Jimi.

Hey this guy was a major influence n the 70's, Stones to Andy Summer/Police, Clapton, etc.

Recently I'm seeing a hybrid jazz/raggae that I like

I mentioned Peter Tosh because of the influence he and Bob Marley was
in the strange times of the 70's. Even today back home in Brooklyn where I live there is a stronge Jamacian influence as well as the islands. A few blocks from where I live there is a stronge political movement to change Church Ave.'s name to Bob Marley Ave. Just for today though. I don't partake in the cerimonial smoke that so associated with this genure. I had an awakening about 10 or 15 years ago that I play and sound better without drugs, but I was down that tragic road.

you mean this?
