certainly one of the best southern rock band and rock band simply.

they made some great songs with 3 guitarists and everything rocks inside up to the boogie woogie keyboard player !
they've been making some great lp's through the 90's at least, more than 20 years unlike many other big rock bands.

YES SUH, as Ronnie always said it (R.I.P)

Im goin to their show on the 31st in my hometown of Lexington Ky. Its going to be awesome. Since they are gonna be here, I get to skip the last day of school (I prolly woulda anyway tho :D )

Skynyrd is THE best band born and bred in Dixie. GOD BLESS

Great riffs, great songs, great guitar sounds, distinctive guitar styles, great bass and drums -- nothing not to like or even love about Skynyrd. I'm talking about classic Skynyrd here.

One of my favorite stories is Pete Townshend interrupting himself in an interview when Skynyrd was opening for The Who and saying something like, "They're quite good aren't they?" Quite a compliment.

Love Blackfoot too.
