Remember Ramatam? I would suggest getting their only two albums.

April was way way ahead of her time. She passed Thanksgiving '06 and IMO was a special person in anything she set her mind to.
Awesome thread here-

Carl, have the first album on vinyl RAMATAM as Mitch Mitchell was on it, I collected everything Hendrix related, as you do, just I am older than you, I think? April had suprisingly good guitar playing as I remember as I currently don't have a turntable andI am dying to hear my Hendrix boots, such as IOW, Live at LA Forum,Maui, Live Experience, ect!
What you do do is play Hendrix covers amazingly well, my compliments!

I had the 1st album as a kid as well.
Somebody brought her name up on TPG months ago...
I did a search and found that huge thread on the jazz site.

I went and got both albums on cd and I found a rare Ramatam show on a torrent site from NY's Acedemy of music.

She came from Long Island, a town or two away.

Very mysterious person thu-out her life, but whatever she applied herself to she was extremely talented.

Ps, yes I saw the Ramatam MySpace. Cool dedication site!
