you can't get much better than his tone -- a pair of superbass with 2 - 2X12 cabs....freakin' sweet.

Maybe I am biased because I am such a huge fan....

I and a fellow player/buddy of mine also are big fans of Doyle's. I know this has been said of a few other guitarists, but to me he is the closest to Hendrix in terms of approach to the guitar and singing that I've heard. I don't mean that he sounds like Hendrix or even plays like him, but the whole attitude and approach (the pace?), if that makes any sense. Bottom line is the more I listen to the guy, the more I like him.
