great 60's psychedelic Rock band !
the gods of SF acid rock with quicksilver and Grateful dead, the charlatans, janis joplin & big brother, country joe & the fish...
i love the live "bless its pointed little head" and most of their music ( unlike some of the Dead's music that is too much influenced by country music to my taste) untill jefferson starship that i don't like much.

The extended version of "Ballad for you, me and pooneil" will rock the turd out of me! I really dig some of their songs, but in the other hand most of their songs are boring for me (just a matter of taste and my low intelligence level)...
