might already be a thread on ray but the search didn't show one up. one of the best players ever imo. hugely underatted. great solo in this clip. gerry brown kicks ass on kit too. enjoy...

Ray is awesome. I sold him my first Soldano SLO-100 in the early 90's!!!!

He's a MySpace friend, and one of the best guitarists ever.

loved ray on narada michael walden's 'garden of lovelight' album. totally awesome, he really gets me every time i hear him. and you sold HIM an amp :lol:

Wow, is he still around?

I got one of his LP's back in the late 70's /early 80's. Great player.

I saw Ray Gomez when he opened up for Judas Priest in 1980 at the Long Beach arena during their British Steel tour.He kicked ass.Better than Tipton and Downing that night for sure.
