i know, i know....probably the oldest question in rock history!! haha

anyone know their rig(s) up to around '81?

i just happen to be playin my 1987 with an old mxr distrtion plus-- sounded amazingly like '' 4 those about 2 rock".

i appreciate any comments!! thanx-

** i was using a '68 cab with its original greenies.

2203/2204s I think, but a nmv works just as fine. ;)

thanks- yeah guess yer right. i listened to the song after i noticed the similarity....it was so close.

Go over to solodallas for more info. They used a lot of different stuff, Leads, Superleads, Malcolm used a Superbass, in addition to the 2203s. Seems like they generally favored non master volume amps, but they definitely used 2203s from time to time through that era.
