Warren got an SLO in 88 or 89 and it is on the Detonator (and everything after) album. I think he started using it because of the consistency and reliability.

I heard that WD's main Marshall from the early days had a unique tone because it has a PT from a Marshall Major... and that it appears to look like it came from the factory that way.

Recent pics of his pedalboard showed three carbon copys and a rotovibe.

Hi Y'all
I have it from Robins former road tech (met him on Kenny Chesney) that both of Robin and Warren used super champs for recording and live performance ... out of the cellar days. I cant personally confirm but the dude is old school legit and I heard it with my own ears. The champs were "under the stage".
Who knows?
A certain heavyweight producer confirmed super c's were used for out of the cellar tracking so I tend to buy it. Those amps were in everyones arsenal

I've heard from reliable sources the same Super Champ story. Only for OoTC though.

yup, only on ootc afaik.
the furman pq3 is another tool used on ootc .... in front of a super champ with an EV it sounds about right to me.
