Watched "Metallica- Through the Never" on Netflix the other day. I was kinda too old for Metallica when they came along, but the young kids that I knew who played guitar were hip to them, so I was exposed to them that way and by Monsters of Rock in the late eighties. "Ride the Lightning" and "Master of Puppets" had some great guitar sounds on them IMO, but I never really cared for much of anything else they did, although I was at the "...And Justice" show in Kansas City (with openers Queensryche on their "Operation: Mindcrime" tour). I have to say, I enjoyed seeing Metallica plow through their best old material on this concert flick, and the guitar sounds were great with plenty of high-energy riffs and licks to keep you interested... ..........................
p.s. the guy who plays the green goblin in the new Spiderman 2 was in it as well, playing a flipped out roadie (?)
