I'm very sad right now. But at least it's comforting to know that Johnny Winter was surrounded by people who actually cared about him and he was able to continue doing what he loved the best for a few years longer...

Been in the dumps ALL day. But I used the emotion to work through Mississippi Blues. Truly a gift from Johnny to me on this sad day. Practice tonight was with my Firebird and covered a number of Winter classics (including Memory Pain).
A real influence on me. Another guitar great called home. Rest In Peace Brother Johnny. I'll always hear you in my head and in my heart.
Fillmore how are you doing? Thinking of you buddy.
Johnny lived a rich live and did it his way and we should all hope to have that epitaph on our graves someday..
