Marshall 40th Anniversary JTM 45/100 single OT Mod

Post by M2061x » Mon May 17, 2010 9:43 am

Hi.

I'm planning to mod my Marshall 40th Anniversary JTM 45/100 amp so that it uses only one OT and a pair of KT66 tubes. I'm not sure if this somehow changes the tone of the amp but 100W is just too much for me. Could someone here explain me how should I do this and what shoud I take into account when I'm doing this?

Thanks!
